I am just concerned that if for some reason Google bans my master domain (which works as an index to the subs) will that negatively affect all of the sub domain sites?
Nothing black-hat is going on, but I am just concerned about a fragile foundation that could affect so much hard work if the master domain was ever affected negativley.
So, are the sub-domains classed as full domains in their own right - or does Google view them as related to the master domain?
Sub-domains are very common in the corporate world, giving orgs the ability to provide web site portals to distinct divisions and research centers. For example www.ibm.com, almaden.ibm.com and so on.
From a business standpoint I'd hesitate to create multiple sites as sub-domains because of my long term view that as internet properties subdomains are difficult to separate should you desire to entertain offers on one specific property.

I have a Google banned domain. I'm going to set up a sub-domain from it, get some content in place, get some links pointing in, and see if Google spiders the content, then includes it in search results.
I'm hoping the Google will list search results for the subdomain site, showing that subs are seen by Google as unique stand alone domains - with no relationship to the master domain.
I'll let you know the results in a few weeks or so.
My main domain got blocked from Google Adsense (long story), but I still have Google Ads working fine on one of my sub-domains.
