Has anyone had any experience in sending a 302 redirect to a 301 non-www.domain.#*$!?

What would this accomplish if anything?

I was 302 hijacked from an ad and the place I advertised offer little cooperation to help fix this. The hijack now seems faded as I pointed the 302 to a page on their site.

So I wonder if sending a 302 to a non-www 301 (currently the non-www is supplimental but the www is PR 7) would have any effect on removing the supplimental and bring back any lost rankings from both the hijack and non-www seeming to be the place where the site is ranking now.

Any ideas?

A double redirect can bury a good page. Since this page is already buried, I doubt that a double redirect would help to bring it back.
