My site is rather new. About 5 months old.
I thought google updated pagerank every now and then, with at least a couple of months between the updates.

How come my pagerank dropped down to 1 again, after having just two weeks with pr2?

The only thing I have changed is the urls.
They was like this:
www.mydomain.com/index.php?blah=blah&widgets=1092
changed them to
www.mydomain.com/widgets1092.html

thought this would be a good thing?

anyone?

Apparently, they are constantly changing things with the updates. My PR fluctuates as well with a new site (4 mos).

Our website is 1 1/2 years old and today are just starting to see the new pr show back up instead of the 0 it was showing.

Damn, my toolbar is not showing anything of the new PR since it was updated :) not that I care that much but as stupid as it is I am lost without it.

Is there someone else with the same problem?

I had just seen a pr given to some of my internal pages in an update, maybe 3 weeks ago. Nothing too special, just google getting used to my new urls, I check today, pr of 1, 2 and 3 on various pages have gone. Main pages are still alright, did google find some bug and run a backup verison of the page rank, to put it back a few weeks?

I've noticed some downtime for google this last week, adsence 404ing and also their .co.uk, didnt last long, but wondered if it was related!

Why care?

What are your site readership figures like? or revenue?

These are what are important, unless you're running a site just for the Google spider!

Beware missing the wood for the tress.
