Will Google think Pixel Pages are Link Farms?

How will Google view Pixel Pages

Pixel Pages have 100's of outbound links. Has anyone seen any evidence of Google penalizing a site for being on one of these "link farms"...

I don't think it is just Google that is likely to see these pointless pages as link farms. Isn't that exactly what they are?

But my understanding is that you are not penalised for being on these, or any similar pages. You just get no credit at all for such links. They are not seen as a 'vote'.

And since the chances of them sending actual traffic is somewhere at the lower end of a scale running from slim to none, there is not much point in being on them at all.

I havent seen any of these pages rank for any significant searches.

At the end of the day, they're irrelevant links to SEO in my opinion.. but there are suckers born everyday.

I don't see them as a link farm so much as a links page. People are paying to have their links shown, which Google doesn't like in theory, but such sites are probably even too marginal to be worth penalizing.

Does anyone have a recommendation as to which script I could use to make (and automate) one of these ... I don't think it will make any real money, but think that it would fit in well with one of my sites ..

Just search for "pixel directory". Soon you will get results just like, "ffa directory". BUTTTT! Now you have to buy pixels to get listed nowhere..

Hmmm.. cud someone explain what exactly is a pixel page? i searched for a few and got grafiti kindaa sites, whick looked rather meaningless.

Maybe i am missing something....

They are link farm pages. Why would any search engine consider that kind of link to be a vote of quality, a citation, or recommendation for a site?

it's an advertisement site which consists out of pixels (squares)...people can buy pixels and place an image with a link on them...
