Will changing from AdSense to YPN affect rankings?

Am I being paranoid?

After a lengthy penalty for interlinking sites (6 months of no Google) we have finally started to return to the serps at G. We have also had AdSense on all of our pages since that time.

We have been experimenting with Yahoo's Publisher Network and have found that in our sector they are paying much better, on the order of 2-3 times as much income all else being equal.

I have heard rumours that the Big G will not be happy with you if you change to YPN, and the last thing I want to do is suffer through another penalty.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Am I just still too paranoid from the last error we made?

I am trying the same thing, Adsense to YPN and so far it is working out fine.
