Indexed pages keep disappearing

This is getting very frustrating. My homepage is consistently in the Google Index, but my most important page keeps getting added and removed from the Google Index it seems a couple of times a week. I don't get it!

I have strong contacts at Google Adwords, think they might be able to route my situation over to someone on natural search?

Does anyone else deal with this?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

This might be due to the current big-daddy data center update on G. There are many reports from other webmasters that their indexed pages in G have dropped significantly over the last week.

I would like to hear feedback from others as to if they think this is a temporary issue and if the problem might be resolved when BD roll-out is complete (estimated to be completed by mid March).

Yes, me too.

Most of my pages (2000) are gone when I search the url!

These pages are still (at present) in the SERPS.

This is freeking me out!

This is driving me nuts!

On Friday my most important pages linked from my homepage
were BACK in the Google Index and I obtained first page rankings, now 2 days later the page is not found in the Index. I have no reason to believe my page is in violation of anything - I don't think this page is banned.

If my homepage (index.html) is always found in the Google Index, Google wouldn't ban select pages would they? And if they determined a specific page to be in violation of something, it would get added back to their Index at randomly would it?

This sounds exactly like the main topic being discussed extensively in those long Big Daddy, Supplemental Club and Data Center threads. GoogleGuy popped in last week to announce that it was a bug, and he thinks they have a fix which we should begin to see this coming week.

When you see your pages, you are getting a different data center than when they are missing.

Thanks tedster. I'm hoping this does get fixed, I believe in my SEO work so I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what is going on.
