Yes -- links and toolbar PR [webmasterworld.com] both seem to be updating in the same, wobbly process. It does make sense that the two would be intertwined.

Yep backlinks update rolling out

Whilst we know that the number of links shown by google (when using the links: command) is only a small selection of the overall links google has - does anyone know what percentage this represents?

Is it fair to assume that if your backlinks have just gone up its because google has found more links to your site?

That may sound like a stupid question but what i mean is, if google was showing 20% of your backlinks last update and this time its showing 30%, in effect you may have less overall backlinks in Google but the links command makes it look like you have more.

Can webmasters gain any information from using the links command to know if their site is moving forwards in google?

my link:mysite.com works for the first time now, although it shows signifigantly less sites than the 'sites containing the phrase mysite.com' function.
