0 PR and good ranking

I have a three month old website with PR 0. While looking up various keywords that people type to find in my site, I noticed that, in spite of its poor PR and that it is still in sandbox, it ranks quite well on one keyword. In fact, I'm #9 on this keyword and all the websites ahead of me have PR>=4.

So, do you think that once I have any PR, I might rank much higher than that? Or is my PR just sort of invisible?

Odds are that you already have some PR - but the toolbar report is only updated a few times a year so you still don't know what it is. Nevertheless, in Google's back room, PR is updated continually. When the toolbar report is updated, that event alone does not change what has already been your real PR.

Still, PR0 pages can outrank higher PR pages for this or that query. PR is only one part of the full algo, which looks at over 100 factors.

What tedster said... what's more, I don't think you're in the sandbox if you're #9 for a competative keyword. Forget about what's in the toolbar and focus on writing good content, placing it on tight, well-focused pages, and getting links from high quality sites related to your subject matter.
