Google and IDN's

Advantages? or none?

Hi all,

Would anyone be able to explain the advantages (if any) with IDN domain names seo wise?

i.e will algorhitm recognize the idn as its actual name (example.com idn in japanese) or as the punycode for the word example in japanese...

Any info will be greatly appriciated.
