Have links from multiple sites.
Every page is indexed by Google and it is crawled regularly.
I still have PR0 as per latest IE Google tool bar and FireFox toolbar.
link:domain.com shows no links except a couple internal pages.
Some pages still rank ok for a few phrases, but I'm tired of seeing a white bar.
No other relevant sites will trade links if you are a PR0.
When can I expect to see some PageRank?
Thanks

Per Google's Matt Cutts, toolbar PR is only updated about 4 times a year. We're about due, and there have been some scattered reports of PR changes with the rollout of the new Big Daddy infrastructure. As you may know, "real" PR is updated continually behind the scenes and only real PR is used to rank your pages on search results -- but you'll never know what that number is in real time.
It's a shame your sector is so stuck on toolbar PR - check out martinibuster's message #6 in this Link Development thread [webmasterworld.com]. He ran into the same thing, but kept working on his content, and got some good one way inbounds, building a successful site in the process.
Thanks for the reply. I checked the thread you mentioned. Thanks.
Yep- Yahoo has my links.
Also, a good thing is that one of the updated DC's is carrying all my PDF files as indexed. Previously, G hadn't indexed the PDF's. Heck, G even indexed my VCF file.
There aren't any high PR sites for any phrase I want.
In fact, a PR4 would be just fine.
There are plenty of paid directory listings- which are the primary links in my industry with a few independant sites which rank highly sprinkled in.
I'll get where I want to be eventually.

It seems G is favoring *many* reciprocal links off other link pages of small sites rather than any high PR links.
When I state many I mean 1000+ links coming back from really small PR3 and less sites with typical "Links" pages.
This will take a while. :)

I think we could see a toolbar PR update on this Sunday.
As Ted said it is due, and Google is known for making changes on weekends and around holidays/events.
Anyone remember what happened on Feb 14th two years ago?
if I use link: www.domainname.com (with a space between link: and www.domainname.com) I get around 4,000 links
"link:www.domain.com" (no space) does a link search and returns a small sample of pages that link to www.domain.com.
"link: www.domain.com" (with the space) does an ordinary search for pages that contain the words "link" and "www.domain.com".
