Is google showing cached pages late now - a -days?

Google is not showing the date of cache(last indexing ) in time.

Hi to all!
As I noticed , in the last few days that google is not showing the date of indexing in time . My site whose index page crawled on 12th Jan , google showed it a week later , similarly today(ie; 13 days later) google is showing that the same page is last cached on 14 th Jan . Initially there was a trend that , GOOGLE used to show the latest day of crawling after a day or two maximum , with the SERP . Have any one of you noticed this thing? What exactly this is?

Yes, the cache has been sluggish for at least several weeks.

I see the date update, but the actual date to still be a week or more old. It used to be a matter of 10 to 30 hours old at update just a few months ago. That has all changed.
