Replacing static with dynamic urls - G's reaction

I am in the process of migrating a static site into a dymanic CMS script that uses SEF Advance to rewrite the urls.

The current static site is fully indexed and ranks quite well.

As far as I can tell SEF advance can be set up to create identical urls to the static site. My question is do I need to use a 301 redirect aswell. I do not want to produce dup content.

Why not maintain site names?
'mysite_number23.htm' can be a static OR dynamic site, you only have to tell the web server to process sites with the '.htm' extensions.
I did it, "coming from the other site" reconverting dynamic pages in apparent 'static' pages because I noted that sites with .htm extension enter more easily in the search engines ...
A bot cannot differentiate if a site has been created by a human webmaster or by a server processing, he receives accessing a site html code like you and me ...
