Google Analytics - Allowing new profiles

Is it worth switching Analytics back on?

It may be old news but I noticed that Google Analytics is allowing me to add more profiles.

I removed the code from my pages not long after the launch due to the poor service level (slowing down page delivery).

I'd like to know if the level of service is acceptable now.

Should I put the code back up?
