I had a look at one of our hosting clients sites as she kindly gave us a link on her homepage.
I was surprised to see she had pr of 7 (now down to 3) knowing that she uses a lot of javascript on her page I checked it on google and to my surprise it is not listed!

How can a page with a pr of 7 be not listed? At first, I thought for some reason she may have been banned, but that would be unlikely as it is only a personal page with no seo applied whatsoever.

I then used the google toolbar cache feature to check if her homepage is being properly spidered and to my horror it shows a real estate web site from the philippines!

Has she been hijacked?

I do not know how and if I should break this to her as she works very hard on this site (a memorial site) and it would really upset her.

Anyways, my question is, is this kind of hijack possible at all or is it just some google error?

It could be caused by 302 redirects from the one site to hers. Search around for [302 hijack] or similar terms for more information.

More basic though, shared IPs can sometimes confuse Google, returning the "wrong" domain for a query. Is the real estate site possibly also hosted by you? Or, if she is a new client, might her site have recently shared an IP with the other?

Dig around a bit and you might be able to suss out where the problem is. And maybe a few other folks will come by with other suggestions.
