We changed the structure of one of our site quite a bit during the holidays.

We now have around 100 really high quality pages of content, keyword rich etc. It truly is good stuff for the users of the site . . . . it's not ment as bait for the SERPs only :)

After adding the content, we also made a xml-sitemap and added it to Googles sitemap-program.

During a couple of hours, we saw an explosive raise in pageviews due to Googles robots.

Now.....some days later.....we are not seing any diffenrece regarding all our new pages. It's like Google visited the site but didn't do anything.

In the sitemap-administration, I can see that the sitemap is validated and that Google used it, but it doesn't show any of the new pages we added.

Is this the normal behavior (does Google only have a little "sip" of the site and then come back later for a full indexing) or?

some days later

Google can be very cautious when domains change their content dramatically. The timeframe for inclusion can be a lot longer than days, especially of most or all of the old urls are no longer available.
