Are site: command results in a particular order?

searching for site:www.MySite.com gives a list of all pages that are indexed from mysite. How does google decide which pages to show first from your site when using this command? Do the pages coming up first hold more weight?

I don't think they are in any significant order, but interesting if they were.

I think that the order does have some significance.

For me - site:domain.com brings up most of my oldest and most linked to pages first.
