How does google treat links to several

directories of the same website.

I have the opportunity to ask for specific link text and am wondering if there is a benefit in taking several links to different parts of my site.

For example my link text may read Widgets in france & english Widgets.

I want to make the "Widgets in France" part link to www.example.com/ and "france" link to www.example.com/france/ and say "english widgets" link to www.example.com/england/

Is there any advantage doing this or should i just stick to what i do at present which is 1 link.

All these links are on very small websites which pay me a small amount per year for a listing and are required to carry my return link as I specify it.

Grateful for any insight on how google treat this.
