Really weird behaviour from Google searches

We have a site, I've been checking the url for days now, nothing showing on Google for months except the title and url.

But today, on my laptop, I did the same search - and lo and behold there was the full description. (Laptop connected to internet through same router)

So I go back to my original machine, do the search again, and it is still just the title! I shut the machine down, clear out the cache, and I still cannot get more than the title.

Now I've checked a few more of my sites - same problem!

Got a colleague to check on their machine - and the descriptions were there.

What on earth could be going on?

Clear your cookies and then clear your cache again. Go to internet options and clear offline content. Still have a problem...go to your folder in C and clear it manually.

I have seen different results when using two different browsers on the same machine, or even when checking using keywords vs. checking using a site: search.

Your OS ( doze) doesnt just keep the data where it says it does ..
