I have a few questions about the service Google Base and the content to post in it.

1) If I post in it content I have already published on my website, do I get any duplicate content penalty?
Should I post in G.Base articles with content changed respect to what I have already published on my website?

2) Posting in Google Base would affect in any way the SERP's?

3) In the Policies it read "Posting not permitted for products sold through an affiliate marketing relationship" . So basically, posting is going to be permitted for merchants only?

Thanks

A couple points I found that may help:

Google Base enables content previously not found
on the web to be more accessible and useful.

[base.google.com...]

We do not permit duplicate posted content, or the
promotion of mirrored sites or products.

9. Where will my item appear?

If your item is highly relevant, it may also appear
in Google searches or on other Google properties
like Froogle and Google Local.

We encourage you to submit your item, whether
it's your store inventory, collection of original poetry,
or research paper on cancer receptors.
