Anybody using Google Base for more traffic

Is it overlap, overleap or will it make a difference?

I checked out Google Base yesterday after reading an article about Craiglist which called Google Base as Craiglist on steroids.

The idea of a massive database is not really new and from cruising around it a bit, Google Base looks like either of these or all: a. a haven for spammers, b. a further development of Froogle, c. replication of the internet. d. more work for webmasters, e. something which can be ignored without worry, f. a potential traffic builder.

Since it's in beta and not widely publicized at this point, I guess the jury's still out. Any comments, ideas, secrets or stories concerning this potential "monster" would be appreciated.

We have most of our products listed there - from the websites to other stuff we sell - but traffic referrals is nil to non-existent. Maybe later when more people hear about it, it can be a good source of traffic (or at the very least, a link).
