One site did exist for few months with only coming soon page and wasn't indexed by Google until I submitted Sitemap with about dozen pages, also added Urchin. Now all of its pages are number one - ok this one isn't that much of surprise since they are only ones that exist for these keywords. ;-))
Second site (my namesurname.com ;-)) was opened last week and I only added few texts which haven't been even indexed as I write this only two main pages, submitted to Sitemaps on Nov 25 and yesterday I noticed my non-English main page is #1 for the title keyword! I did push down PR3 subpage which has only single small text. Site was also added to Urchin and I have added Adsense for Search (since Content is not yet available).
I did place few links on my other sites to point to these two but Google have yet to index this links! Now I'm worried if I continue adding other links and if I write text in English will it trigger sandbox effect? ;-))
I'm have no idea why does Google loves me, maybe it has something to do with my main PR5, 2000+ page site? Urchin? Or most likely fact that I'm in zero competitive area? (although my second sites is based largely on stuff (translated) I picked from this forum - guess all the things I read here are finally paying off - so it could turn out to be gold mine and I end up paying Brett to keep WW out of engines indefinitely) LOL!
P.S.
Feel free to contact me if you have job offers, best one wins although I prefer boss with good sense of humor especially if SHE is single. ;-))

Yes, that's as easy as falling off a log.
Try doing the same on a search that returns more than a few million results and has ads that pay $1 per click.
If you can do that I'll pay you $5,000 an hour (and you wouldn't bother to take me up on that).
TJ
I can do the same for 350 USD per hour. Especially when it comes to words such as:
h8as7dfhkdhhddddfoof
723jbniausydfhciuehf
jasufhnbndsuusjjjasd
or the good old: hkadsf7876hdisuapadsufh
No Problem. One day and you are number one. And I can even do more - you're the only page that is coming up! Imagine this! :-)

Reality will soon set in with this guy. Throwing thousand$ at ads to pull $200 in gross sales makes short work of an inflated self-image! Never mind how I might be privy to that particular factoid, please.
anybody can get number one in google for obscure words/phrases. I not sure what the poin of this post is.
To give hope to new webmasters that there sites will not spend half a year buried in search results and that if you play nice Google will like you, at lest one person discovered beauty of Sitemaps so YES my post was worth it! :-p
Who would want to pay you $500/hour to rank for something nobody in the world is searhing for?
You did see a smiley?
One question - do you rank number one in yahoo?
My old site does and it gets me 5% of Google traffic, so I don't really care much about other SE - and yes I hate being so much depended on Google.

Yep same keywords in English are probably way out of my reach.

Ok, now you give me incentive to try. ;-)
Just give me a proof, just even your targeted keyword. And let us see how many months have you already been online until you get the position of number 1.
You didn't read my post too well or you would have find it alredy, my domain is my namesurname.com which you can get from my user name and keywords you get from title of non-english page. ;-)
For non competitive keyphrase it's quite easy. Just get one or two backlinks with medium-PR pages. I reached #1 for keyphrase with only 139000 results immediately with slightly optimized page and two PR4 backlinks, and I hold this position for months.
Point was that I had zero backlinks indexed by Google yet and site PR is still non existen but I pushed out PR3 site which existed for ages - ok they got zero backlinks. ;-)
And to let hundreds of webmasters build sites around the keyword so he doesn't own it anymore? Right. That'll go real well.
I doubt anyone would care since there isn't a single advertiser. LOL!

I already have 2000+ page site (one in my profile) which I never advertised since it has been number one for all its keywords... competition actually exist but they don't put up much of a fight since there isn't much money do be made - only recently did Google start sending me checks every second month.
Had only one accident when a single click made me $20 since beginning of AdSense, if I pass $3 it was a very good day and although I'm not sure but seems that this thread made me pass $5 yesterday - so I should SPAM this forum more often! ;-))

You're #2 for your name, and nowhere to be seen for your other keyphrase you specified in meta keywords. Get #1 for 'web tips' phrase and we'll be astonished.

You've wrong, there are a few nice backlinks to your site and Google knows about them. Google has already cached some pages from the forum you put links to your sites, including your 'ego site', in your signature, and 'about' page on your other site, where there is also a backlink to your site, and this page is PR4. That's what I've found in a moment, and there are at least a few other pages I already see.
Read back some posts here and you'll learn that Google doesn't show backlinks as expected, and toolbar shows outdated PageRank. Your site is, I guess, PR 2 or PR 3 right now, no matter what toolbar says.

Psst, site which #1 for my name is my main 2000+ page websites... ;-)

I said non-english phrase...

All of these were added AFTER Google alredy picked me up and give top spot for NON-english phrase over PR3 site. Not my fault mods kept this post out of forum for almost two days.
What is the deal? Moderators? Shouldn't this thread be in foo? Self promotion?
What self promotion? I'm trying to find out just how I got indexed in such short time - so I can do it few more times - and mods had enough fun keeping this post out of the forum for over a day.
