we offer many categorties of widgets. each category of widgets has been divided into 5 subcategories according to widget price, widget reviews, widget colour, etc.

now, I want to explain the user what I mean by certain category name. some people may understand cheap widget as something that costs $3 and for some $30 will be still cheap.
what I plan to do is to prepare 3-4 or even sentences about each subcategory of the widgets and put that at the top of the list of widgets. As I have many categories and each category contains the same subcategories I will put the explanation many times.
Now, may that amount of text be too much for a search engine?
thanks

Do what makes sense for your visitors, not bots, algos, or filters.

Why not make up a single page with category explanations, and link to it from each page? That way, the explanations only appear once on your site, and users will be able to find them when they need them - they won't be in the way for experienced users.
