Closed, No new signups

Google Analytics has closed the signup for their new service, I still have not recived my data after 5 days, but this doesnt seem like a good start for such a service.

"Google Analytics has experienced extremely strong demand, and as a result, we have temporarily limited the number of new signups as we increase capacity. In the meantime, please submit your name and email address and we will notify you as soon as we are ready to add new accounts. Thank you for your patience."

Interesting, the Google Analytics Settings page says:

To track another website with Analytics, click the 'Add Website Profile' link.

But the "Add Website Profile" link seems now to be missing.

First they removed the Site Overlay feature [webmasterworld.com], now it seems that they are not taking on new site profiles?

Seems like a sign that Google wasn't ready for the droves of folks signing up for this service (I'm sure the slashdotting didn't help much)?
