Google Sitemap vs. page text links.

I have uploaded a site map to Google with all pages included. Google's page indexing suggestions suggest having text links for your pages. My main nav tools are php pulldown menus. Since I have uploaded a sitemap, is the text link issue not as important?

Hi Zellerman. PHP can produce static text links. But by pulldown menus you mean DHTML?
In any case even if you submit a sitemap it's a good idea to have text link navigation, possibly in addition to your DHTML menu. One reason for this is if you use a text link on your home page to link to your "Blue Widget" page it will help the engines theme that page as about "Blue Widget". A lot of sites that use dynamic menus will put static links at the bottom of the page so they get the best of both worlds.

Yeah redundant text-link navigation at the bottom of the pages are a good idea when using DHTML based menus. A text link to your sitemap is also good idea too.
