I have one client's, his site dosen't rank on google for any targeted/untargeted keyword... site is not shown for its domain name (domain name is not keyword rich)...

Site looks fine... shows perfect cache (week old date), it shows 300+ backlink on google, site has pr 4 ...

Ranks for some keywords on yahoo and msn.

I can say that owner of site has previously tried to inflate link popularity... by bloging, posting links, etc...

After not getting result now he decided to hire me..

I am not sure how can get started ...
any thoughts...?
how can i improve site visibility specially on Google ... any suggestion?

Tali,
do the mods a favor and remove the link. It is not allowed to post live links here.

Follow Google's webmaster guideline. One important element: make sure the site is content-rich, very useful to users.
