I think I figured out why my site hardly ranks in google.

90% of the pages are shown as "supplemental results"

I have over 60 articles, custom written, along with some other content on my site... Most of these pages are all viewed as supplemental results, as I just found out today with the help of a friend.

When I wrote them, I tried to get everything perfect and base each article around certain keywords - I made sure not to spam the keywords or any of that... But I did make a custom article posting form that automatically mod-rewrote the pages and created them on the fly - which also automatically added other article links on an "Other Articles" section of each article.

I'm not sure what is causing them to be viewed as supplemental results, but I need to get them removed and into the main serps because I believe they're hurting my home page from ranking at all in google.

I rank #1 through #10 on all of my target keywords in yahoo, but google it's no where to be found, and I believe it's because of 90% of the site being shown as supplemental results.

Also, one thing I did notice was that one of the few articles that wasn't viewed as a supplemental result, I targeted the keyword "Custom Blue Widgets", "Blue Widgets" also happens to be a keyword that I've targeted for my home page (and in anchor text) - when I type "Custom Blue Widgets" in google, the home page (not the article), shows up on the 3rd page of results. I believe this is direct evidence that if I were to get the result of the site out of supplemental results, it would help the home page a lot.

Any ideas? Thanks.
