Can anyone tell me in the order in which way the Google system works and how often, I take it that the old google dance method does not come into effect now. I would like to know rough time frames etc.
In other words if I have a certain page that ranks at position 11 on a certain date can I determine from logs etc what google are about to do, so I know to wait it out or make some subtle changes. At the moment I rely on the cached image of my page to determine when it was spidered, or is this wrong, could it be, that the googlebot hits my page on say the 21st Oct and the results of that spidering are seen on the 22nd with the cached image stating the 22nd, if so I wont know if the changes I made on the 22nd have cured or borken the resulting serps. It would be great to understand the sequence a bit more.Thanks for all you postings on my issue much appreciated Steve.
