We have two websites offering very similar products in exactly the same geographic location, so there is a certain amount of overlapping content (though there is no word-for-word duplicate content). Due to endless problems with our current host we are changing host. My webmaster tells me this new host allow hosting of more than one website in the same account (ie; three sites for same price as one, hosted on same servers).
But I seem to remember reading somewhere (here probably) that this can negatively affect our Google rankings.
Is this correct? Would it be false economy to host both sites together?
