OK, I'll just ask this in a new post since I can't find this in the threads anywhere.

All agree we need a couple of PR6, 7 or higher links to our page. So, what if the home page of a site is PR7 but the links page is PR3 or less (as it usually is). Does it count as a PR7 link or not?
So how does one find a genuine high PR link?

Your Backlink comes from a PR 3 page (like domain.com/links.html) and domain.com/ has PR 7?

=> What you get is a PR 3 Backlink.

You get the PR on the page that your site is linked on. Remember it is PAGERank, not SITERank. Also, that you SHARE the PR of all the outbound links on the page. That is an important fact to remember.
