Split SERPS

Just noticed this for the first time. I am not sure if this has been mentioned before, I tried to search but didn't find anything.

I was looking for a widget holiday, so I searched "widgets". Google returns results in the following format:

Basically G inserted 3 additional SERPs for a different keyword in the middle of the SERPs. The dashes represent the blue lines that separate the results. It's the same color line that separates AdWords from SERPs. The results do not seem to be paid. They are just a different keyword.

This has been tested by Google for quite awhile now ... I'm sure if you search you can find some topics on it.
