Is there a image and serps sandbox?

or does it all get unsandboxed at once.

I asked/wondered about it here [webmasterworld.com...] , but maybe it should have its own Thread.

Is there a sandbox for both the image search and real serps on different levels or if you suddently come up in the image search then you will soon also come up in the real search?.
