My 6-month old site remains in the "sandbox" as it does not rank for any terms whatsoever. I have never had a single hit from Google.

Rather than getting into a discussion about the semantics of "sandboxing" or various theories, I am approaching those who feel their sites were once in the sandbox and have been released. I wonder if they saw the things I am seeing on my site and if they are indeed positive signs that Googlebot likes the site and will eventually release it:

1)Daily crawls, multiple visits
2)Daily fresh tags, esp on homepage
3)Ranks #1 for its name (a three-word phrase without hyphens, also ranks #1 with all the words searched together but separated by spaces).
4)All pages indexed fully with title/desc, often with fresh tags
5)Site is basic html, small pages

Seems to me if Gbot gives a site this much attention it must like it. So, when you were released from the "sandbox" had you seen these signs? Was the release sudden, or gradual?
