Home Page in Supplemental Index?

A few months ago I was having a hard time trying to get Google to index updated pages on one of my sites. I emailed them and worked everything out. A little bit later the other pages started to appear in the results.

It's been a few months. Now my problem is that the home page for the site is listed as a supplemental result. When I type site:www.example.com all the pages from the site show up except for the home page. To see the home page I have to click on the link at the end for the duplicate pages.

The copy on this page is different than any of the other pages. Has anyone experienced this same problem? What can I do to get the home page out of the supplemental index?
