Goggolbot indexes pages but they day in the cached page at google is w

Hi, googlebot comes almost everyday to my site and in my logfile it seems that it almost visits all the pages on my site, but I have noticed that the day that google indexed the page, does not reflect the same date in the cached page at all google, before when google indexed a page, the date in the googlecached page would be the same as the latest visit from googlebot.

For example googlebot revisited a already included page in google on the 5 of sept, so about a 3 day after this date, I wnet to check if the date in the cached page at google was the 5 of september but it wasn't is was the 25august. Why does isn't the latest date a page was indexed, not the same in the cached page at google?

googlebot in my logfiles visited one page on the 1,2,3,4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 of september, but the page in google cach says 25 august what is going on do you think is this normal?
