Dmoz.org and Google listings

I would like to know when can my listing appear in Dmoz and Google for my new site?

I already submitted there but did not get any result.

In fact, i had a site which is #1 in Google and i did not do any special thing to do so. (even i did not submit it to search engines - Pagerank of it is 4)

When i looked at spider/bots, it seems that bots visit my previous site at least once per day. But i did not see orderly visits by Googlebot in my new site.

I also submitted to other search engines.

So what would you suggest me about getting listed in Google and Dmoz? When can this happen?

I am waiting for your success or failure stories too.
