I just published a website but it has a pr of 0. Can anyone please tell me how can I increase my pr(hopefully to a 5 or 6). Thanks a lot for helping.

Just get a listing in DMOZ.org and get some links of some PR 6 or higher sites. That might boost your PR up. When you have good content (!) it is possible.
