Hi,

I've read a fair bit about Google crawling 2 "versions" of a site, one with and one without the "www.". After doing some research I can't seem to get a clear answer as to which "version" to redirect to which, i.e. which is the best to keep in Google and which to effectively trash (and why).

Is there a definitive answer to this?

<bump> Sorry to revisit, but is it inevitable to run into trouble using the above code if you are already converting dynamic to static links? I can't seem the get the code above to work correctly with the converted static links (they show dynamic variables again when the above is added to .htaccess. Any ideas?
