Some affiliate programs have tools for you to create pages of product listings - these create snippets of javascript that you stick on your webpage. When the page is viewed in a browser the javascript runs, and downloads the html content off a server somewhere.
In the past I'd heard that google wouldn't read content created in this way - is this still true?
