XML sitemaps

Hi,

Well, now I have generated the XML sitemap and submitted it to google.

Can I take advantage of this XML sitemap to get indexed faster in other search engines?

I mean can I replace my current html sitemaps by this one
so other search engines can crawl my site faster and easier or its just an exclusive tool for google use so far?
