Was just listening to an item on the BBC world service ..concerning Google's latest share issue ..whilst the general tone of the interview was very impressed with Google..
A very interesting point was brought up ..apparently the Murdoch organisation "Newscorp" has been casting around to start or aquire it's own search engine ..in the "beeb"'s opinion .."Newscorp has sufficient content already through it's various media to pose a very real threat to Google"...

Discuss?

Before dismissing the idea out of hand ..really look into what the cards held by Newscorp are ....
A "new kid on the block" with experience in advertising might bring a whole new dimension to the game ...

Same BBC program ..MS 360X box ( and Sony's upcoming box ) photorealistic gaming may take millions of people off of TV and the internet onto online game playing ..

Again less eyes for "G"?..maybe ..or a new ad media?
