After using some keyword research software which, amongst other things, queries Google automatically, I found that my search access to Google was blocked by its "403 Forbidden" page, which suggested that I or my network was infected by a virus.

In this thread this topic on WW:

.. there was a helpful comment by GoogleGuy which, in effect said "Don't use this type of software and you'll be OK."

Well, I already HAVE used it! And previously, I've been using this software for well over a year.

My question is: "Is my ban temporary or have I messed up my access to Google search access for ever (I usually go in through the Google toolbar)?

Any advice / answer would be welcomed.
