Some history: On this site Google indexed pages with both www and non-www. A month ago I made the .htacces changes and all non-www show a 301 to the www version. (I appreciate it could be many months before I can expect any results from the 301.)

When I search for site:mysite.com -www I get a list of pages from my site that Google reckons are not preceded by "www". Fair enough. What I don't understand is this: Some of the pages are marked as in supplemental results and a cache is available. But all the pages not in supplemental don't have an option to view cache.

mysite.com/page1.htm - Supplemental Result - Cached - Similar pages
mysite.com/page2.htm - Similar pages

The "cache" wording is simply not there. Anyone knows what that means, what it doesn't mean, or whether I'm a rambling idiot?

(I don't have any nocache tags on any page in this site)

I'm seeing quite a bit of that on my site as well. Mine seems to be specific to product pages. All of my static, non-product pages such as articles and what have you still have the cache and a good description like normal. I suspect it's dupe content or something with the products but that's weird because a lot of the products ONLY exist on my site.

Hopefully, one of the experts here can shed some light on this.

<bump>

Anyone else?

Also, when I change the search from site:mysite.com -www to site:mysite.com mysite -www the results change to just a list of URLs:

mysite.com/page1.htm
similar pages

mysite.com/page2.htm
similar pages

mysite.com/page3.htm
similar pages

... etc

What's that about?

Seeing very much the same myself on 10 sites atm. Been watching googlebot and every page it spiders it removed the cached content.

Googlebot has stopped visiting my sites for the most part but when it does spider www.mypage.com/uniqueinfo all that is left if anything is the url with no content.

Anyone with any further info would be appreciated.
