Yesterday, our rankings dropped across the board. The only significant change that I noticed was that our root page "http://sitename.com/" was no longer indexed. However, it appears that the page was indexed as its actual page name "http://sitename.com/index.html" as are all our other pages. Our inbound links do not seem to have changed either. Has anyone experienced this problem before? It seems to me that there might be a duplicate content issue here. We'd love to find a way to get it back to the way it just was because I belive it's seriously hurting us. Any advice would be appreciated.
