Does Server Side Incudes get indexed?

Will Google be able to crawl my navigation?

If I make my main navigation bar a server side include for easy updating, will google be able to crawl my site? I'm not sure at what point it gets added to the page. When Google crawls the page, does it see the SSI as already part of the page?
