We just started working on a new website, we only have a couple of pages ready, but I can tell that reading the forums here is paying back. The site looks awesome. Now I want to know how to launch the site in an effective way so I can get some traffic from the very first day. Should I wait for the site to be completed? (should take us about 3 months or should I go ahead and get a Yahoo listing to get it indexed. What kind of links should I try to get andwereshould they be linked to? perhaps a link from a site with a high pagerank? Should the link be created to our homepage,to a deep page,or perhaps to our sitemap?. I know I could also submit a sitemap to Google to get it index it. But whats the right aproach? Hopefully this time I wont fall under the damn sanbox if thers such thing. Please help me make a great launch for this website!
