blue widget vs. bluewidget how does google differentiate?

The keyword(s) I am targeting is blue widget, and have optimized for it, but I am seeing results coming back for bluewidget. How is this possible?

victorP, Google tends to analyze the search phrases and integrates synonyms or other variations of the word into the results. This usually returns higher relevancy. For example you'd expect this site to come up when you type in [Webmaster World] and [WebmasterWorld]
