Cut google off from repetive pages?

Such as large galleries?

I have several galleries, one thats 300 and another 500+ images (not adult related so don't get excited). I know google has not crawled these files...I can only assume google knows each of these pages are pretty much the same. Would it benefit me to block this dir via robots.txt? Would repetive pages be considered bad as far as google is concerned?

Nah - just leave them alone and let G do with it what they will. Since you aren't concerned about their ranking, then just let them be.

If you are concerned about the rankings - try to nake each page as unique as possible.
