Message Too Old, No Replies

Google regurgitate two year old cache for my new site.

Site not even launched and got PR 2 already.

I registered a domain name two months ago, until yesterday, I did not even know it was previously registered.

I linked the site from my other sites, while it was still in development and it had only the default hosting page with a few links to scripts, etc.

First of all, being the site in this condition, it got a PR 2 all of the sudden, for that page.
Then, like 2 weeks ago, the only page it had dissapared from the index, which was expectable. Yet, it has the PR 2, that was not gone.

During the weekend I was finally able to upload a partially finished site in the domain.

Today, my website is again on the index and it shows a title and description that didn't sound familiar. I looked to the cache and see it is from Dec, 2003!

Could anybody explain this fenomena?

Follow up :

The site dissapeared again that same day.
The funny listing lasted like 4 hours, then vanished.
