I have just put up a site. Luckily I have a link already off a google listed site. So, presumably when google next crawls this site it will pick my site up?
What timeframe can I expect before my site is included in google rankings?
Is there a chance that google - despite finding me in this fashion, could not include my site in its rankings?

I just posted this in reply to another new thread, and it's appropriate here as well: --- Go to any SE and search for google sandbox detection tool and google sandbox tool and you'll find a lot of info on how to avoid it, how to possibly get out of it, and tools to check if you're in it. (I had a link for the tool, but of course as the page recently gained popularity the site now requires that you register!) --- Unfortunately this is something you're going to have to deal with if the domain is new.
