Results from Google scholar: [scholar.google.com...]

are now showing on top of regular Google search results.

Is this new? A non-specific search such as "biology research" may show it.

You then get:

Scholarly articles for biology research
listing one
listing two
listing three

together with the number of citations.

Thanks for pointing it out - that's the first I've noticed it.

Since papers tend to be VERY highly focused and specific, I wonder how relevant that kind of result actually is on such a generic search. Seems more like publicity for Scholar -- which is not necessarily a bad thing, just not a search result, you know?
